Once upon a time, an artist friend of mine and I saw Grouper and a few other artists play a live soundtrack to the old Russian movie, Stalker, at the Holocene in Portland.
That was clearly enough to make me love her. And enough to make me understand why this particular event, for Grouper, makes all the sense in the world.
